Digital Panoramic X-Ray

Digital Panoramic X-Ray

X-ray has been used for medical imaging for nearly a century. Although its importance seems to have decreased in recent years, it is still the primary diagnostic method, especially in imaging the lung and bone structures. It is also used for many purposes in other body parts.

Developments over the century have not changed the basic principle but have helped to increase image quality. The radiation dose received during shooting has been reduced and protection from radiation has been achieved. Developments in computer technology have made x-ray digital.

Thus, film repetition is reduced. Also via software. Image quality has improved in many movies. It is also carried on CD and can be processed on a computer. In our center, the Agfa CR system, one of the most accepted devices in the world, is used.
